A Round Around
I’ve been experimenting with 3D illustrations for some time, but have always been reluctant to publish the results, until now. The approach I adopted is everything but realistic: I just tried to do what I usually do in terms of compositions, shapes, textures, brushes, and use of colors, with one more dimension to play with.
Finding a theme to work with was not a big issue: one of my strongest sources of inspiration came from vintage posters and advertisements, especially those made for Martini, Campari, and many other liquor brands. Cocktails are more than mixtures of spirits, flavors, and aromas. They blend places, stories, traditions, and cultures, and what better occasion to put all these elements inside some compositions?
